In Feb-24, the average price of oranges in the Brazilian market reached USD 17.67 per box of 40.8 kilograms (kg), marking a 9.29% month-on-month (MoM) increase. This surpassed the record set in Jan-24 for the entire historical series. Additionally, compared to Feb-23, the average price significantly increased 83% year-on-year (YoY). These high prices are due to a combination of low fruit supply and high demand from the juice industry.
