The wholesale price of fresh whole beef in Mexico rose at a slow pace and stood +25.76% higher than last year's price to 4.26 USD/KG in W5 September 2021. On the other hand, the global export value of beef rose to 1.3B USD in 2020. The US not only imports beef from Mexico, but also from other countries due to high demand. However, the drought in Mexico this year has reduced beef production which may make the price rise and also affect the US beef supply.
