In recent days, the need for some markets for beef has become evident. The signs come from Europe and the United States. The cuts of quality and of cattle fattened on pasture with which the Hilton quota is covered exceeded $20,000 and reached a new historical record. The data was confirmed by different exporters. This is a consequence of the fact that beef production on that continent falls at a faster rate than its demand, which drives prices up despite policies against beef consumption, such as the case of the Netherlands. On the other hand, the sale of beef for the 20,000-ton quota that the United States awarded to Argentina, which does not pay tariffs, is proceeding at a good pace. Outside of that quota, beef entering that market has a tax burden of 26.4%.
