Wholesale Peach Prices Increase by 82% in Russia Due to Limited Supply

The wholesale price of fresh Peach in Russia soared 81.98% YoY to USD 3.58/kg in W3 of June-22. The Russian market is currently lacking quantities of fresh peaches to satisfy demand. Turkiye, Uzbekistan, and Serbia, major exporters of fresh peaches to Russia, started with their first deliveries in May. Looking at the past figures, the price decreased 21.14% MoM from USD 4.54/kg in W2 of May. With the season proceeding and an optimistic assessment of the yield in Turkiye and Uzbekistan, the wholesale price of fresh peaches will follow a downward trend in the upcoming period.
