Pistachio re-exports from Germany is rising

Currently, the pistachio re-exports from Germany is on the rise. Germany has increased pistachio exports significantly in the last year to major buyers in Europe including the Netherlands (+ 401.88%) and France (+ 220.41%). Since Germany is not a producer of pistachios, they have imported pistachios from original producers such as the US, Iran, and Brazil for re-export to major buyers. Even though pistachio imports from around the world have plummeted due to the reduction of Chinese demand, Germany is growing as a hub to fulfill the importers in Europe.
