Stable whole tuna prices in Vietnam with higher prices in large importing markets such as the US have fomented a large increase in Vietnamese exports. Whole bluefin tuna prices in Da Nang, Vietnam, have traded sideways since mid-April at around VND 60 thousand/kg ($2.56/kg). Meanwhile, average frozen tuna fillet import prices in the US from Vietnam have risen 33% YoY in Jan-May 2022.
