The South Chungcheong Fisheries Resources Research Institute is pushing forward the "2026 Harmful Organisms (Parasites) Control Project" to diagnose and block parasitic diseases in aquaculture sites early on. This project was established to diagnose and block parasitic diseases, which frequently occur in aquaculture sites early on, to prevent mass deaths and large-scale damage and to create a stable aquatic product production environment. Since parasitic diseases can lead to enormous economic losses if initial responses are delayed, the judgment was made that rapid diagnosis and on-site prescriptions by experts are of utmost importance. To this end, the South Chungcheong Fisheries Resources Research Institute directly visits target fishing households to conduct parasite management and monitoring.
