Low mandarin prices in Peru and Turkey can affect the markets

Satsuma mandarin prices in Turkey remained volatile from May to August while prices on the Peruvian market are likely to show mild fluctuations in mid-2021. Even the price on the Peruvian market fell -34.82% from last year while the difference in Turkey was smaller at -12.88%. Mandarin production in Peru increased and reached a record high in 2019 as production decreased in Turkey. Peru is actively exporting mandarins to the US (63.1%). Meanwhile, Turkey is targeting the market in European countries like Serbia while at the same time also importing from Egypt.
