The Tridge benchmark price for French industrial wholesale cow milk butter has been trending lower this month. It has fallen from €5007/mt to €4074/mt over the week on weaker demand for packaged and industrial butter. Milk collections have been up in Europe likewise cream and butter production- supplies of cow milk butter currently exceeds demand with January-23 estimated up 7% YoY to 172 thousand mt.
