Turkey has seen a 42% increase in dried fig exports to the USA in the past year, reaching $50 million, thanks to the 'TURQUALITY' project. The production of dried figs in Aydın, known for its high-quality figs, has tripled over the past 30 years. Dried figs, along with seedless raisins and dried apricots, account for 94% of the Aegean Region's total dried fruit exports. Turkey also exported dried figs worth $29 million to France and $28 million to Germany.
