Traders are prohibited to export Malaysian chicken eggs

To ensure sufficient egg stock in the country, only producers can apply for export permits. Traders are not allowed to apply for it to prevent the export of too many eggs thus disrupting domestic supply. This is because chicken eggs are one of the main foods in Malaysia.
