The 16 Lunar New Year products are cabbage, radish, apple, pear, chestnut, jujube, Hanwoo beef, pork, chicken, egg, pollack, squid, mackerel, hairtail, sand eel, and dried anchovy. According to the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), the Livestock Product Quality Evaluation Institute, and the Central Federation of Forest Cooperatives, as of the 5th, the retail price of a head of cabbage is 4,641 won, down 8.5% from a year ago but up 32.6% from the average price of the past three years excluding the highest and lowest prices from 2021 to last year.
