New Insecticides law will damage Ukrainian exports to Europe

In February 2020, changes in European law came into force that prohibited the use of insecticides with chlorpyrifos and chlorpyrifos-methyl. This may block agricultural exports from Ukraine to the EU since these insecticides are used in the country to process most of the crops, as well as grain storages. Despite the absence of a ban on the use of these substances in Ukraine, it is impossible to ignore EU requirements by the Ukrainian producers and exporters.
