As Ramadan is coming in the 2nd week of April 2021, Bangladeshi traders prepare themselves to import dates. Bangladesh is one of the largest date importers after India, Pakistan, and Malaysia. Bangladesh mostly imports dates from UAE. Along with their own production, however, UAE traders usually collect dates from Iraq, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Bangladeshi traders are expecting to import 30 thousand MT of dates in March and April 2021.
