On December 12, 2022, the first batch of New Zealand cherries (2022/23) arrived by air cargo at the Shanghai Huizhan wholesale market. The first batch consisted of a total of 3 pallets, each weighing 12 kg and containing 12 small boxes, each weighing 1 kg. The small boxes were 28 mm and 30 mm in size, and the prices were USD 385/carton and USD 428/carton, respectively. The three pallets were sold in one day.
