Vanilla prices in Indonesia dropped due to weakened market demand. The price of bourbon-type Vanilla from Madagascar is lowering, and exporters/traders in Indonesia are also trying to follow this trend by keeping an attractive price for vanilla. Exporters are pressured to require lower prices from growers/collectors for both tahitensis and planifolia varieties.
