Turkish security agencies are investigating the circumstances of the death of a Saudi tourist suspected of "food poisoning." The citizen, Muhammad al-Suwailem (82 years old), was poisoned after eating a meal at his hotel in the Şişli area of Istanbul after arriving there on a tourist trip with his wife, who reported that her husband fell severely ill after eating the meal, accompanied by vomiting, which necessitated his transfer to the hospital for treatment. He left the same day, but his health condition deteriorated again the next day, and the symptoms returned more severe. An ambulance team arrived at his hotel, but he passed away before reaching the hospital.
