Due to the covid-19 lockdown in the country, kaong production has decreased to 15% as there is a lack of manpower in the business, specifically in the Visayas region. Suppliers are also not able to transport the finished product to Metro Manila due to the same reasons. Thus, most products are on hold and are stored in their warehouses until the lockdown is eased down.
