South Korea Drops Import Tariffs on Australian Beef

The Korean government implemented import tariff cuts for Australian beef and expects local retail prices to decline by 5–8%, increasing demand. The increased demand allowed South Korea to rank as a top export destination for Australian beef, ranking behind Japan by 71K tons. It is expected for South Korean demand for Australian beef to increase further during the second half of 2022.
