【Pyeongchang】On the 16th, Pyeongchang County announced that it will push forward with the installation of agricultural wells and water tanks in Jidonga-ri, Pyeongchang-eup, and Daehwa-ri, Daehwa-myeon. The county plans to invest 250 million won in the project, transferring the existing village management well in Jidonga-ri, Pyeongchang-eup to the county to increase the efficiency of maintenance and additionally installing water tanks. Moreover, to address the recent shortage of rainfall due to abnormal climate and the insufficient water supply of the existing well in Daehwa-ri, Daehwa-myeon, the county plans to develop new wells to prevent agricultural damage caused by drought. Oh Hyun-woong, the head of the county's construction division, stated, "We will continue to push for development to ensure a smooth supply of agricultural water in the future" and "We will continuously manage the maintenance of existing agricultural wells to ensure a stable supply of agricultural water."
