Soy lecithin remains a significant import product for Turkey as it is extensively used in sweets and chocolate production. Turkey imported 8.1K MT of soy lecithin in 2022 with around 2.6K MT of those imports coming directly from India. The soy lecithin prices in W4 has quite a wide range with Turkish buyers being quoted as low as USD 5,000/MT and as high as USD 6,000/MT CIF Mersin. The prices are expected to remain above the USD 4,500-5,000/MT level for the season.
