Taiwanese Pineapple Growing Season Started in January 2023

January through May is the ideal pineapple growing period in Taiwan. Pineapple exports to the Japanese market officially started on January 19, 2023. The last shipment date of the pineapple will be around the middle of May before rains start. Due to its consistent taste and quality, March is the best period to export pineapple. Taiwanese pineapple prices are expected to rise at the end of April due to higher temperatures causing a drop in supply.
