Prices of Okra reached an all-time high at MAD 25/kg ~ $2.80/kg in Morocco, because of high demand and low supply. For this huge need, many producers in Morocco, specifically in the Doukkala-Abda region, are considering switching their main product from Green pepper and chili pepper to Okra.
