Soaring imports of fresh apples in Egypt

While Italy has been leading the apple exporter to Egypt ever since 2014, Poland started to exports a significant amount of apples in 2018. The import from both Italy and Poland has grown more than doubled in 2019 to meet the local demand in Egypt. Italy occupied 30.4% of shares in Egypt's apple market while Poland occupied 28.4% of shares.
