Beef prices in Ireland reach multi-year high

Fresh whole beef prices (bullock) in Ireland reached their highest level in at least 4 years in the last week of April, at $5.23/kg (4.87 eur/kg).

Prices bounced back from a one-year low in early April as demand (domestic and international) remained strong and input costs continued on the rise.
