The export of Egyptian sweet potatoes fell in UK market in 2020

The import value of Egyptian sweet potatoes has increased in Germany, Switzerland, and Spain in line with increasing domestic demand, but not in the UK, whose imports fell far from last 2019 to 19.31M USD, a decreased of -20.89%. However, the UK is currently increasing its imports from other big exporters such as China and the Netherlands, this began to make China compete with Egypt in capturing market share for sweet potatoes.
