Low Price for Dragon Fruit in Thailand

Price fluctuations occur for dragon fruit in Thailand. The price which was previously still low in the second week of January 2021, actually strengthened and rose to 1.33 USD/KG in the last week of March. Had reached its lowest point at 0.81 USD/KG in early July 2021, the value return to normal in early October with 1.03 USD/KG. The decline was recorded at -3.9% YoY, which is presumably because Vietnam as a supplier of dragon fruit to Thailand experienced oversupply which pushed prices down in the market.
