Opposite trends for US and Indonesian Garlic Wholesale Prices

The wholesale price index of garlic in the US is showing an upward trend in 2021. On June 28, 2021, the price index dropped to 87.8. During the same period, Indonesia’s price index was also down to 86.69. However, the price index for US garlic rebounded significantly to 193.73 on November 8th, 2021, +93.73% higher than the base index price. Meanwhile, the wholesale price index of garlic in Indonesia declined to 81.84 on November 8th, 2021, falling by -18.16% compared to the base index price.
