The opposite trend of mandarin prices occurred in exporting markets like South Africa (-19.37%) and Turkey (+11.36%). The price spike occurred in South Africa with a value of 0.92 USD per KG in early May 2021 and decreased sharply towards the third quarter of the year. Meanwhile, price volatility has continued in the Turkish market since the beginning of the year. Prices that are still quite reasonable will allow the demand for imported mandarins to grow in 2021.
