Farmgate Price of Sunflower Seed Meal in Ukraine Tumbled Down Due to Low Demand

The farmgate price of sunflower seed meal in Ukraine fell by 37.32% YoY to USD 0.23/kg in W3 of July 22. A record low-level price was marked in W1 of July 2022 at USD 0.08/kg. The slow rate of exports due to the port blockade and a decrease in cattle funds led to an oversupply in the domestic market, which culminated in W1 of July 22, when the price was lowest.
