The export of rice to Turkey from Greece has been on the rise since 2018. In the past 3 years, the export value of Greecian rice to Turkey has skyrocketed from a mere 3.2M USD in 2018 to 15.9M USD in 2020. The import demand for rice in Turkey had been the highest in 2015 where 43.2M USD worth of rice was imported into the country from Greece and the United States, while most of the volume had been coming from the US market.
