Spanish nectarine shows extreme price volatility

Both markets, Spain and Russia, showed significant price increases, especially for Spain which rose more than 90%. While in the Russian market, nectarines began to increase gradually since entering the third week of January 2021, in contrast to Spain, the country already raising its prices since the third week of September but showed fluctuations that continued from February to May 2021. Russia relies on Uzbekistan for fulfilling the demands of nectarine and peaches while at the same time Spain is expanding its exports, especially to Germany.
