Vanilla Beans by Bulk

Planifolia Vanilla is the fruit of an orchid that blooms for only a few hours each year. The vanilla beans (or vanilla pods) are later harvested and also traditionally cured/sun-dried for 21 days (3-4 weeks). During that time, the vanilla pod shrivels up to 25% of its original size, losing about 80 percent of its moisture content. Our farmers and Research & Development team aim to have 25 to 30 percent vanilla beans moisture content.

Our farmers practice natural and sustainable harvesting procedures, which is key as it is a healthy way to grow fresh and genuine gourmet quality vanilla. Vanilla is a perfect ingredient for desserts, vanilla extract, vanilla powder (ground vanilla), and baking.

Our Vanilla Beans are well prepared and packed using professional chamber vacuum sealers. The entire product is placed inside of a vacuum chamber, the air is removed from the chamber, and the bag is sealed. Before export, we manually triple check the pack to ensure you received the freshest quality of natural vanilla beans

Indonesian gourmet vanilla beans are the highest quality and contain the most caviar inside each pod than any other vanilla bean like Madagascar or those grown in Mexico. Indonesian Gourmet vanilla beans are very thick & dense, sweet and smokey, about 5 to 8 inches in length (15cm).
