1.	GENERALITIES:  
This technical sheet refers to the product refined sunflower oil obtained from High Oleic sunflower seeds, bulk. The product does not contain and does not come from genetically modified organisms, it is not subject to labeling according to Regulations 1829/2003 and 1830/2003 with their subsequent modifications. 
2.	TECHNICAL QUALITY REQUIREMENTS: 
Edible High Oleic refined sunflower oil is manufactured according to the technological instructions given by the KIRCHFELD documentation, in compliance with sanitary legal provisions and national and European legislation applicable to food oils. The raw materials and auxiliaries used in the production of High Oleic refined sunflower oil comply with the legal sanitary and food safety provisions.

Pesticides Residual in our oil and fats are compliant to Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 and its amendment Regulation (EC) No 310/2011. The European Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for processes products like oils and fats should be derived from the European MRLs for raw agricultural products. Concentration or dilution caused by processing must be taken into account.

Our refined oils and fats comply with the microbiological criteria for foodstuffs according to Directive (EC) 2073/2005. Refined oils and fats undergo a sterilization during the deodorization according to FEDIOL Code of Practice (min 180°C for min 2 hours), which effectively eliminates microbiological activity.
Moreover, water activity of the oils is below Aw < 0.6. Thus, the product is not susceptible to the growth of microorganisms.

3.	STORAGE, TRANSPORT AND DOCUMENTS: 
Refined sunflower oil packages are stored in covered, at room temperature, protected from sunlight and frost, and clean and odorless places. 
 
4.	 VALIDITY TERM: 
The optimum use date of the product is 18 months from the of the filling date if is storage in the condition mentioned, without excessive handling.
