Oliver Loveland founded it in 1838 as a supplier to the building trade; eventually, it developed into one of the key suppliers to the soap industry. Welch, Holme & Clark became the name of the business in 1870, and the company was officially established in 1892. It was already supplying industry with many of the items listed on the following pages by the turn of the 20th century.
With items improved by contemporary technology and, of course, the ever-stricter rules of the government, we now provide services to more industries than we can possibly list.
