Kola Nut is predominantly native to the tropical rain forests of Africa. It has a high caffeine content and locally in places like Nigeria it is popularly chewed as a stimulant.
It is also commonly used in the manufacture of food and beverages such as cola drinks due to its caffeine content and as a flavoring ingredient.
Kola nut has been listed by the United States FDA as generally safe for consumption. Kola nut extract is classified as a natural food flavoring and also as an inactive ingredient in certain pharmaceuticals.

The botanical name for cocoa beans is Theobroma cocoa. Cocoa beans or simply cocoa are the Dried and fully fermented fatty seed of the cocoa tree from which cocoa solids or cocoa butter is extracted. This is the major ingredient for chocolate.
Nigeria is a major producer and exporter of cocoa and has a production capacity of 270,000 MT/Annum (ICCO 2018/2019). Westsun Limited is able to source, process and export cocoa to our international buyers.

Shea butter is a fat extracted from the nuts of the shea tree which is indigenous to West Africa. Shea butter has been used as a cosmetic ingredient for hundreds of years. It is solid at warm temperatures and has an off-white and ivory color.
Shea butter is also edible and is used in food preparation, especially in some African countries. Occasionally it is mixed with other oils as a substitute for cocoa butter although the taste is noticeably different.
