Imported potatoes sold in Turkey to the dismay of domestic growers

The potatoes imported from Egypt to be sold to Syria are sold in the domestic market in Turkey to the dismay of Turkish potato producers. 2 kmt of potatoes were imported for the purpose of re-exporting and now the domestic producers are forced to compete with import potatoes in the domestic market.

After the first shipment of 2 kmt, now another 5 kmt of potatoes from Egypt is reported to have entered into Turkish market place and the domestic producers are demanding an explanation from the Ministry of Agriculture.
