Farmers in central region face droughts and lack of irrigation permits

Drought over the last 3 years has affected the central region of the country forcing the producers to adopt new crops rather than their usual grains like lentils. The water for irrigation has declined by 50% and in order to irrigate artificially, the farmers are required to seek irrigation permits in the region.
