Sharp decrease in seedless lime price in Vietnam

The price of seedless lime has dropped sharply within the past month in Hau Giang province, from 1.93 USD / kg to only 0.21 USD / kg. This is the lowest price in the past 3 years. In the past few years, a lot of Vietnamese farmers started planting seedless lime as it was more profitable compared to other fruits. However, due to oversupply and the current world situations, the farmers are suffering from the significantly decreased price.
