Government waives land tax for farmers in Vietnam, but this raises some concerns

Regarding the recent regulation from the government, Vietnamese farmers will be exempt from tax for agricultural land to boost the agricultural industry. However, this regulation may reduce the pressure for farmers to use the land efficiently and may even cause some farmers to abandon the land completely.
