Depreciation of the rial is causing further shortages of poultry feed in Iran

Poultry feed imports, mainly soybean meal and corn in Iran, have decreased almost by half compared to last year. The main reason behind the low supply is said to be the depreciating Iranian rial against the US dollar.

The low supply has already created shortages in the market which might further negatively impact by inflating chicken meat and chicken egg prices.
