Low Local Supply of Japanese Lettuce in W35

The supply of domestic lettuce in Japan is short in W35. In the wholesale market in Tokyo, lettuce from the central region of Japan decreased by 40% in August since the season is ending. Supply is not expected to rise until W36 or 37 when lettuce supply is available in Eastern Japan.
