The Italian rice campaign is facing a serious risk due to the drought that begin in the spring in 2022. Mountain lakes and rivers water levels are registering a record low level. The most important river of Italy, Po river, is facing a decrease of -3.7 m (the lowest point reached in the last 70 years), and Maggiore Lake is 22% full and Como Lake 25%.
