Egypt will maintain its position as the largest exporter of oranges

A recent report from the Office of Agricultural Affairs at the US Embassy in Cairo expected an increase in Egypt's exports of fresh oranges to about 1.5 million MT this year, compared to 1.37 million MT the previous year, thanks to the high production amid favorable weather conditions. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia, Russia, the Netherlands, China, and the United Arab Emirates would remain the most important destinations for Egyptian oranges.
