Iran has imported over 800 KMT of rice from the beginning of the fiscal year up until now which is in a decline with 20% compared to last year.
Around half of the imported quantities have gone through customs clearance and the customs administration has postponed the seasonal rice import ban to September 22 in order to give some more additional time to Iranian importers to complete the clearance of already delivered rice.
