The first exports of New Zealand Kiwi arrived in Vietnam in the first week of May-24, signaling the start of the annual Kiwi season. These initial shipments quickly sold out due to high demand. Vietnamese wholesalers highlight that these imports have helped meet the strong demand for Golden Kiwi following several months of limited supplies. New Zealand golden kiwi is prized for its extended shelf life and is popular in both wholesale markets and retail supermarkets. In W18, the wholesale price for early-season golden kiwi ranges from USD 21 per 3.5-kilogram (kg) to USD 22/3.5kg, while retail prices range from USD 8/kg to USD 9/kg.
