Mexican carrots went through a strict inspection in the Mexico-U.S. border

Shipments of Mexican carrots had to go through an inspection process in the Mexico-U.S. border by the Customs and Border Protection (CBP). According to the USDA's rules and guidelines, due to some shipments that came from the state of Puebla that were contaminated with non-acceptable residues. This tight control on Mexican carrots is affecting every shipment, even if the origin is other than the state of Puebla, which has been causing a negative impact on timeliness, logistics, quality, and costs.
