Organic Mushroom Production Unit

The largest certified organic mushroom facility in New Zealand is in process on the north island, just south of Auckland. The project is running behind schedule because of various reasons. Initially the plan was to start production in January 2022, but this date is postponed to later this year. Their plan is to first focus and satisfy local demand, which is around 90,000kg per week, and there after expand to some niche export markets globally. This will hopefully happen around late 2023.
