Guatemalan Palm Oil Producers Exploring New Markets and Niches for 2023

The production of Palm Oil is growing in Guatemala, reaching 1M mt/year, becoming the 6th largest producer globally and holding 1st place in productivity, reaching 5.6 mt/hectare, compared with the 3.8 mt/hectare average for the rest of Palm Oil producers countries. Producers are currently committed to contracts until mid-2023 but are already exploring new niches for new markets, both refined and crude oil.
