The sale of new tractors rises by 32% in the first nine months of 2025.

The sale of new tractors reached 9,097 units between January and September of this year, which represents an increase of 32.22% compared to the same period of 2024, according to the latest advance in registrations of agricultural machinery from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA). In the month of September alone, farmers acquired a total of 1,112 tractors, 45.36% more than in the same month of 2024; Andalusia led the purchase (470 units), followed by Castilla-La Mancha (98) and Catalonia (983). In the accumulated total between January and September, the sale of agricultural machinery -which includes, in addition to tractors, self-propelled machinery, towed or suspended machinery, and lastly, trailers- stood at 27,886 units (21.16%), of which 3,293 units (36%) correspond to the month of September.
